How the index reads this table

The ComputeTape H100 Index is the median of the sourced on-demand rows — a single citable number that moves only when the underlying list prices do. It updates daily and keeps a public history with CSV and JSON exports.

Beyond list price

Spot, reserved, and what the list price leaves out

The on-demand list price is the most visible H100 number, but most large buys happen on other terms. Read the table above as the public ceiling-and-floor, then check which tier your workload actually needs.

Spot capacity

Interruptible capacity prices below on-demand — the normalized spot median is currently $2.46 / H100e-hr, an estimate, not a quoted rate. The discount is payment for interruption risk.

Reserved and committed capacity

Multi-month commitments price below on-demand but bind you to the capacity. Negotiated terms are not public, which is why this page only shows list prices.

Availability is part of the price

A low rate you cannot start on time is not a low rate. The Capacity Board tracks which providers list H100 capacity as orderable.
